Web site is due for an update within the next few months or so. Wee bit busy at the moment so it’ll have to wait a bit. Should be easier to navigate and will have more to offer in terms of our products and services. Older products sadly are being phased out or scaled down to meet changing demands. Traditional albums will still be available but to special order only when existing stocks are gone. Increasingly we have seen more interest in storybook and contemporary albums than in our traditional range. We will be offering more storybook albums, and books either in place of or as part of a wedding package, samples will be available later in the year. We’ll be offering these products showcasing storybook style weddings at the SECC later in the Autumn. So if your interested in an album with a difference and you want the full day covered then come and speak to us on our stand tomorrow.

Suzie recently had her first modeling session. What should have been a 2 hour session lasted much longer! She had a great time and is an absolutely fabulous girl to work with. Her friend Ruth Lightbody assisted with her hair and helped us pull of some fantastic pictures, thanks Ruth. Hope too see you both soon!

We had an absolutely sensational show on both Saturday and Sunday. Loads and loads of enquiries so much so that we nearly ran out of Brochures on Saturday and my apologies to those on Sunday for the rather poor quality of the brochures you received. We had to print lots more as quickly as possible on Saturday evening to cope. Even though we printed more, lots more even they disappeared and were flying off the stand! Next time I’ll think of a number and double it:-) Thanks to all who came and spoke to us and discussed their wedding plans with us, if you are in need of any more information then please email or phone and I’ll be delighted to answer any of your questions. I managed to sneak away on Sunday and take some pictures of the catwalk show for Glitterati, I took a few pics of the guys as well, just for practise! New camera EOS 5Dmk2 super quality even at high ISO for those of you who might be interested. The shots above are all available light, this camera has already been used at weddings and allows us to do HD Video of selected parts of the wedding and is great for the first dance at the reception when the light is very low, allowing us to capture the action and without spoiling the atmosphere with flash! We are now taking bookings for 2011 and will be offering free multimedia DVD’s to any clients booking before the 1st of January 2011. The DVD’s contain selected clips from the wedding shot with the above camera.

We’d also like to express our thanks to Caitlin our lovely assistant on Sunday who helped out on our stand and was super! Thanks Caitlin you’re a star even though you eat all the cake you promised me, the lemon flavour was probably delicious:-)

Next Wedding Show is at the end of January. The Ayrshire Wedding Show is the biggest and best in Ayrshire and hope to meet you all there.

More models sorry but this has to stop:-) Why because all our models are moving away to our dedicated site FT Models as soon as I can get it up and running. This site is in danger of being over run but beautiful young ladies willing to take up our offer for modeling ;-D However before it all moves we have one or two still to show what they can do. Today we had the gorgeous Caitlin showing that she’s one of Britains Next Top Model! Loads of great pictures and we both had a super time, see you soon! Two great shoots in two days phew! Oh and Caitlin and Lesley are coming back for more on the same day... smokin’.

Had a great fashion shoot with Lesley today. The weather was typically Scottish wet and overcast so the ‘Trash the Dress’ shoot had to be cancelled. However all was not lost, as we both had a great time and produced some super images from a few hour a lot of work and a few changes of outfits. Lesley is a ‘**STAR**’ and a delight to work with. The pics rock and will be posted for her very soon. Here is a sample.

The happy couple were married today at Lochside House Hotel. Thankfully the weather improved and we got lots and lots of pictures outside. All guests will have to wait a couple of weeks until they return before viewing the pictures. The link will be posted here as soon as they have contacted us on their return.

Well, what can you say except va va voom! She’s gone from feeling awkward and a little shy (yes even you Fiona). To a young lady full of self confidence and is an absolute stunner. Well done Fifi, FHM will be calling. Oh, here’s another couple!

There’s a new website coming soon. FT Models - First Time Models. The picture above is a mockup of a magazine cover. It will feature all new models/ brides, brides to be and will be updated as and when I get the time or the new faces through the door. It will also feature our Weddings, Trash the Dress shoots, Cherish your Dress, Portraits, Beauty etc. exclusive interviews / bio’s with our partners and anyone in the wedding business. However it won’t feature other photographers, strangely enough, unless we forge links with them! Sorry guys and girls it’s nothing personal, it’s a business thing!

First the bad news Fiona aka ‘Fifi Momo’ arrived without her outfits and we couldn’t take the pictures. We managed to take a few head shots, not very inspiring! The good news she’s arriving on Thursday with several oufits - looking forward to that already. Thanks ‘Fifi’.

Some facts about this young lady:
1. She hardly ever stops smiling or talking as this photo reveals she is about to ‘corpse’ (laugh) again.
2. She referee’s at football matches! Any footballers that give Fifi any lip will find themselves subjected to “So your free after the match why don’t you buy me a drink (non-alcoholic) and we’ll (substitute - I’ll) talk about this. ; )
3. Is studying medicine and will become a doctor one day in the not to distant future.
4. Changes boyfriends almost on a daily basis, well not quite, but nearly!
5. As mad as a ‘hatter’ - as Kenny Everett used to say “but in the nicest possible way” : )) See you soon Fiona.

Studio Day

Attended a Hasselblad Studio event today. I had a great time, talking to interesting people and getting some good advice. Naturally I wanted to play with the ‘toys’ as there is a good possibility that when I sell the other kidney, liver and a few other vital organs I’ll be getting one, namely a Hasselblad H3DII 31 or preferably H3DII 39. So what are the ‘toys’ like, well absolutely fantastic when you get used to them. Still need a lot of practice, so if anyone from Hasselblad is reading this then don’t hesitate to put one in the post.

Here is a pic of the lovely Jillian our model for the day, she was fantastic and very professional. Almost impossible to take a bad picture of, although I think I managed it once or twice. Naturally due to my unfamiliarity with the ‘toys’. Shot a few frames with my EOS 5DmkII as well for comparison, and a wee bit of HD video, might put it on the site later. Strangely I didn’t muck up a picture! So a big thanks to all at Hasselblad for making the couple of hours or so very enjoyable and thanks to Jillian for making it all look so easy.

By the way for the camera geeks, you can count the eyelashes and the hairs if you really had to, the picture quality is that good.
