If you wish to book us please do so as early as possible! Last minute bookings are not advisable. We have had to turn down numerous clients for this year, due to our unavailability for 2012. So, very important; if you’d like to use our services book us as your photographer as soon as you get your venue!
Wedding
We had a super time and Elaine and Michael’s wedding. They are a joy to work with. We were very tight for time due to travelling from Houston Church (Renfrew) to Airth Castle in Stirlingshire for the reception. And as we had previously had a pre-wedding photoshoot at the Castle, we were able to cover all the planned shots for the album very quickly and get some stunning images.

Wedding
These should have been posted a while ago! But I’ve been vey busy and only now found the time: )
Danielle and Michael’s big day. We started in Sanquhar at Danielle’s parents house and got some great pictures of Danielle and everyone getting ready.
The wedding was at Lochside House Hotel, and we had a great time, so did the happy couple. Danielle was looking at her pics on line on honeymoon, with as she put it ‘with tears of joy’! So if you were a guest and want to see the pics send us an email and we’ll send you the link.

We had an absolutely fabulous day at the Forrest Hills Hotel near Aberfoyle on Saturday. The weather was super and the pictures, according to Wendy and Neil, just as super. As we were there until the 3rd dance, we had the opportunity to download most of the images onto the laptop and set up a slide show for Wendy and Neil’s guests.
Wedding
We’ll be near Aberfoyle tomorrow, photographing Wendy and Neil for their wedding in the Forrest Hills Hotel. We’re looking forward to a great day. As they both had had a pre-wedding photoshoot at the hotel earlier in the year, they’ll be looking forward to the photography as much as we are: ) This was the scene in January when we visited the hotel.

We exhibited them as a new product at the SECC Wedding Show a few weeks ago, a Pre-wedding Photoshoot Guest Book. They provided plenty of interest at the show and are proving extremely popular with our brides to be, along with our Comic Books!
So if you’d like something unique and very special to your wedding day, why not come along and speak to us at the next wedding show. They are available in a variety of sizes and should go down a treat with the guests at the reception. We also intend to offer a Comic version for those who’d like something that wee bit different. Pre-Wedding Shoot
Just returned from Dalhousie Castle in Midlothian from a pre-wedding photoshoot with Shona and David who flew in from London yesterday. We had a good look around the venue and it is magnificent with lots of photo opportunities. So even if the Scottish weather does play up on the day, we’ll still have lots of scope to set up some really super pictures.

Lorna and Robert’s Wedding Album in monochrome is now online. This album contains many of the images which will be shown at the SECC Wedding Show in one of our new products. Our online wedding albums (here) have been taking a lot of hits online within the past couple of days. Hopefully you appreciate them: )
New black and white album due to be published online this weekend or early next week at the latest. Check back to view. This album will be shown in two sizes at the SECC Wedding Show.
Both albums will be ivory/white, one will be a 20 page 10x10 inch album and the other a smaller 40 page 8x8 inch album. They are also available in black.
We are constantly asked about black and white pictures, so we have decided to show two albums of the same wedding in different sizes in monochrome only. Naturally both these albums could be in colour or a mixture of colour and black and white, if you prefer.
At the SECC Wedding Show we will be offering some super offers!

New Products
We are now offering training sessions to any couples who are not sure about what they want from their wedding photographer. Naturally some of us are shy and like to fade into the background. However this is impossible to do on your wedding day as you’ll both be the centre of attention. So why not sign up for a photoshoot with a difference! We’ll show you how to pose for all those ‘natural’ pictures that you’ve seen in magazines. Don’t tell anyone but most of the ‘natural’ pictures you’ve seen in magazines are carefully staged. So if your nervous and hate getting a camera pointed at you then this session is for you, yes seriously. It will give you confidence and allow you to be natural and less stiff looking in your wedding pictures. The cost is half price at the moment at £69 and you can take home all the ideas and practise them in the comfort of your own home.
Why are we doing this? So far we’ve offered this service to some couples on an adhoc basis. From a photographers point of view it is a delight to work with any one who has undergone some of the training we have given them. Everyone shows more confidence and more importantly they genuinely enjoy their day; after all it will be one less thing to worry about. We originally began this working with new inexperienced models, training young ladies how to pose and project themselves for the camera. This has been highly successful and several of them have been involved in various photoshoots with at least one model signing with an agency. We expect that several others, if they are determined enough will follow suit. Just like Suzie below!
Wedding Dress Shoot
Had a great but cold day at St Andrew’s in the Square with our models Zoe, Lesley and Sophie. Well done girls the pics are brilliant! Thanks should also go to Sian for the makeup and Ruth for the hair, Moira and Bill from Glitterati, Andy, Jamie and May for their help and assistance and finally thanks should also be given to Veronica who organises the venue for weddings and other functions at St Andrew’s in the Square. They all did a brilliant job.
We were firmly on the tourist route in Glasgow and while I was photographing the girls, the tourists were photographing us! One or two of the locals were also on hand to give us their support during the shoot.

SECC Wedding Show
The SECC Wedding Show this weekend
Still got a few things to sort out but we’re nearly ready. The happy couple were married today at Lochside House Hotel. Thankfully the weather improved and we got lots and lots of pictures outside. Models Wanted
We are looking for new faces to feature in few photo shoots we have in mind within the next few months. The shoots will initially be portraits in studio then if all goes to plan of a bridal nature - Trash the Dress and Cherish your Dress. We are also looking for images to use for school prom promotion. Groups of 3 or 4 friends would be ideal.
